Positions Overview
Student Housing offers both academic year positions as well as summer positions for students looking to build their student leadership skills, boost their resumes, and partake in their USF community. All positions can be held to both undergraduate and graduate students.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Community Assistants (CAs) are integral to our front desks operating successfully. The CAs do everything from greet residents as they come home to monitor the entrances for security issues to mail and package retrieval.

Community Office Mangers (COMs) manage and are responsible for assisting their CA team, residents, and Student Housing staff such that the front desk operations run smoothly.

The Summer Guest Housing Guest Hosts, are critical to the program's function. They provide high-level customer service to our summer conference guests and summer school students by answer any questions they might have, and maintain security in the residence halls.

SUMMER OPERATIONS COORDINATOR The Summer Operations Coordinators (SOCs) manage an entire building for the summer, including the staff, facilities issues, and coordinating the check-ins of each of their conference groups.

This position works in concert with the Manager of Front Desk and Service Operations and Associate Director for Operations & Facilities in a team effort to enhance an atmosphere of hospitality and related support services for guest groups. The Assistant for Hospitality and Special Projects is responsible for creating opportunities for social interaction and staff development, as well as staff appreciation among Summer Guest Housing employees.
